About Me
My name is Emily and I adore baking. I graduated from the pastry and baking program at Tante Marie’s Cooking School in 2007 but since baking doesn’t pay the rent very well, it’s just a hobby for now. I do hope to open a vegan bakery one day but I’m very happy working at Trulia.com at the moment.
I’m actually very new to the Vegan diet. I gave up animal products in late July/early August of 2008 though I’ve adapted quite well and I can’t imagine going back. I don’t think it’s wrong for others to eat meat, eggs or dairy if the animals are treated respectfully and have long full lives, but I choose to be a vegan myself because I believe that a vegan diet is healtheir for individuals, animals and our entire planet.
It’s been truly wonderful to discover that desserts and baked goods can taste just as great or better without diary or eggs. All the recipes that you will find on this blog will be vegan but I think that anyone will find them to be very tasty.

WOW indeed! The sorbet and sherbet recipes look incredible.
Email me if you would like to try some POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate juice in your next recipe or next round of sorbet / sherbet, I’d be happy to send you some.
We love finding healthy cooking and eating blogs, keep up the great work!

Thanks so much POM Blogger! I’ll definitely contact you. I’d love to take you up on the offer as I’ve got an idea in the works for pomegranate truffles.
